Education for Sustainability JAWS

Please find velow the details of an Education for Sustainability JAWS taking place Brunei. As always with a JAWS event they are about sharing ideas so you may be asked to present as well as attend. If you are interested in attending then please see Mr Gordon. 

Jerudong International School will be offering an Education for Stutainbilaity JAWS on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st January 2017.

Some initial ideas for session topics are

• Introduction to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)
• ESD as a vehicle for encouraging cross-curricular links within a school
• Utilising school grounds as an ESD resource
• ESD and student service opportunities
• ESD as a platform for achieving whole school goals
• Establishing links with local NGOs / Government Departments
• Eco-School Awards
• Opportunities for engaging is ESD on a global level

Cost: $80BND (includes lunch, refresments and transport to and from hotel)
