International Writing Project

The British School Jakarta will be hosting and International Writing Project CPD in June. Please see the details below and link to the web page. If you are interested in attending please discuss this with Mr Gordon/Ms Jane. 

For the first time, the International Writing Project will offer a course in Indonesia. We are delighted to be hosted by the British School Jakarta.

This course is designed to meet the needs of teachers who want to ensure that they are helping students become better writers. The course will provide tailored instruction for teachers who want to incorporate new writing strategies. Based on the philosophy that we learn by doing, teachers will craft their own writing pieces, respond to each other’s work, and reflect upon the entire process from prewriting to publication. The instructors will provide tips on ensuring that students still acquiring English can successfully participate in the writing process in order to increase their success.
