Developing a love of reading

Please find below the details of a Primary school JAWS event taking place at Harrow International School Bangkok. Please remember as it is a JAWS event you will be expected to share good practice and potentially give a short presentation on your own experiences. If you are interested in attending please see Ms Jane. 

Harrow International School Bangkok will be hosting a Developing a love of Reading - Primary JAWS on the 31st March - 1st April 2017.  

Possible topics include (but not limited to):

• A whole school approach to developing a love of reading
• Guided & Reciprocal Reading
• Planning text-based English units
• Engaging comprehension activities
• Drama techniques as a comprehension strategy
• Developing reading/book corners
• Making class books
• Effective use of the school library
