Computer Science JAWS

Jerudong International School will be hosting the Computer Science JAWS on Friday 7th - Saturday 8th October 2016.

Possible ideas for session topics includes:
  • Physical computing with Raspberry Pi Computers
  • Developing discussion (and writing skills) on Computing issues
  • BBC Microbit (simulator)
  • Media Computing (teaching programming through manipulation of images and audio files)
  • Building programming skills for CAs at GCSE
  • Computational Thinking: Unplugged Algorithm thinking
  • The Little Man Computer (unplugged) and Assembly Language
  • A look at resources: Hodder Dynamic Learning, PG Online and others
  • Teaching using Social Media (Twitter, Pinterest etc)
Date: Friday 7th - Saturday 8th October 2016
