Dear
Colleagues,
Welcome
to the end of another week. Hopefully you have some time in between
reports and NCLs to have a look at a round-up of some brilliant and innovative
ideas from the Google organised Education on Air.
The
event had over 53,000 people in 201 countries who registered for Education on
Air which covered a wide range of topics which are relevant for all areas of
our school. Since I know you probably don’t have time to view all 60
hours of sessions, you can have a look at the recap blog post to find things that
interest you and there is also a nice highlight video to explore some of the key
themes.
According
to the organisers, “The two days in May will not be the end of Education on Air
- they were just the beginning” (they hope). If you do find it interesting and
useful you can take part in different ways and be part of the discussion about
how everyone can work together to improve education:
The research - Read the full
report, The
skills agenda: Preparing students for the future, which we discussed during the opening session of the conference
Recordings - Watch all the sessions on-demand on the website
The next event - Tell us what you want to see in the next Education on Air
Your views - Give us your feedback so we can make future events even better
