Active Learning in Secondary Maths

Below are the details of a secondary JAWS event taking place in April, if you are interested in attending please speak to your team leader before signing up. 

International School of Brunei would like to invite colleagues to the Active Learning in Secondary Mathematics JAWS on Friday 20th April - Saturday 21st April 2018.

The aim of the sessions is to develop teaching and learning strategies to ensure engagement, richness and inclusivity for all, both inside and outside of the maths classroom. 

Sessions will include (but not limited to):

* outdoor learning in maths

* effective group work and differentiation

* the exploration (IB) 

* rich tasks for all abilities 

Please do not book air ticket and accommodation until the JAWS is confirmed.  As a courtesy to the host school, please complete this quick scheduler to indicate if your school intends to send colleagues to the JAWS. More details can be found on the attached flyer or on our website.
